Charity Focus Newcomers supports charities through monies earned and/or donated at the meetings or special events. Whether it comes from a portion of the annual dues or from the raffles that are held at each meeting, it all adds up to helping where we can. Our members voted Casa Hogar Douglas to be our Charity this year.
Baby Playgroup - This playgroup meets the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month starting at 9:30am.
Kid Playgroup - This playgroup meets the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month, from 3:30 -5:30 pm. Playgroup is held in the hostess' home or a park.
Neighborhood Coffee - Once a month, the third thursday of the month except during the holidays, morning meeting. We meet in one of our members' home in a casual atmosphere and enjoy socializing. Please come join us and bring a dish to share!
Book Club - Meets the third Friday of the month at 10am in a member’s home or another location.
Scrapbooking - Meet 9:30 am on the first Friday and third Thursday of the month to work on family albums and scrapbooks. No experience is necessary, just come to learn, share ideas, tools, paper. . .and have fun socializing.
Bunko - Meets once a month. The cost is $100 pesos. Join us from 10am - 12pm for this fun and easy dice game. Bring a breakfast dish to share. New players are welcome and we can teach you how to play. A great way to make friends!
Mah Jongg - Meets every monday in a member´s home. Please join us for a fun time, we can teach you how to play this great game where you can improve your skills each week.
Teen time- Meets once every two months, tweens and teens exchange games, videogames, books, etc. while the moms enjoy a moment of relax and each one brings a dish to share.
Photography- Meets second Thursday and fourth Friday at 9:30 am at a various locations to explore Monterrey and San Pedro trough the lens of the camera.
